|
|
| Hi, I am an American studying in Moscow this upcoming year. I am already in Moscow and my parents want to send me clothes and such. I have heard that packages from the U.S. sometimes get custom's fees on them. Can anyone clarify this for me? |

| I do not know the exact amount, but if it's over $400 USD then you might need to pay tax and duty fees. Just keep the price under $100 when filling out the customs form and everything should be okay. |

As far as I know it depends how the item is posted.
Express mail you can send up to $100 ( I think ). If you exceed that then you have to pay ( I think ) 30% duty.
I heard the limit for normal mail is much higher but don't know what it is.. I'm pretty sure USPS.com has info on it. |
