Anya, there is always a debate here about what to see and how you should stay in Piter.
Maybe you state what your belief is?
I think people underestimate Piter and should visit it before that ugly Gazprom building is built. |

I don't really understand your question. As i know, becouse of the crisis the financing of this project has been postponed.
But i don't really understand all these debates about this tower...all the historical monuments will still be here, on their paces!!!And if you are planning to visit them, Gazprom tower won't be an obstacle:) If you don't want to see it on your pictures-don't make fotos with it!
Time passes and city grows and developes. Changes are inevitable! |

| Actually, in my country and the USA, they preserve an area to look historical. If you go to Montreal or Quebec City, they have the old city and new part. I thought they should move the building a little south so it is not the middle of the historical part. Its architecture and size really does not fit the area. It is like having modern art in the middle of ancient art exhibit. IMHO it does not fit. |
