is there a lot of construction, homes or commerical i am an electrician in usa and never see a job posting for electrician ,, where can i look for work at in Nizhny Novgorod

If you saw Russian electrical work in homes, you would run.
Look for Oil patch work through schlumberger.

Well it depends.
Being an electrician of a new-built commercial or business center could be not that bad.
BUT NOT an electrician for ordinary, old houses. It is a very low-payed job and the conditions of work are awfull

Varrah, generally though with commercial electric, most things are in Russian language, not English. Many of the components are in German also.

Industrial like working north of Magadan, my worked there as an Electrician, but it is not Moscow and it is bloody cold, but the pay is superb even for the west and most of the parts and drawings are in English.

I know many Canadians who worked in Russia as Electricians.
