Hi, I met a girl on the internet. (No she is not a scammer) Anways, I am going to St. Petersburg In Oct. and I am living with her. What do I say to the customs guy when they ask where I am staying and what the purpose of my visit is....?

They won't ask. But, assuming you will be traveling on a tourist visa, then you should tell them the purpose of your visit is tourism. And you should tell them you're staying at the hotel that is on your invitation.

They will not ask anything. If they do, show your invitatiion. Invitation does not usually have hotels, but tourist agencies like Optima or something like this.
If you have not met this girl, then should get a hotel phone number just in case. You do not want to spending a night at the Cecil Hotel Russian style.

There's a hotel on your invitation (probably in cyrillic only). If you can't find it, ask the company that provided the invitation. But, again, if they say even a single word to you at passport control it will be out of the ordinary.
