I am awaiting a student visa for Russia, but it will take months for the invitation to be issued.
I don't want to stay in the UK as I miss Russia too much, so I'm thinking of going to eastern Ukraine whilst I wait for the Russian visa (no visa required for Ukraine for a British citizen, I believe).
The question is, if I reside in Ukraine for a couple of months, may I apply for a Russia visa there? I went to Mongolia from Siberia in 2006 to exchange a Russian visa, but I understand they've tightened up the rules since.
Any advice much appreciated! |
